Conservation

‘’ZOQ releases more oxygen than CO2. And that is the future.’’

There is nothing, such as perfection. And yet, there is.

The natural world is a very complex but perfectly composed where everything is connected. And so, if parts of it are taken out, everything is out of balance. Like a chimney that is slowly collapsing because we have been taking the foundation bricks out and we, the dominant species, are on the very top. Thus, restoration and conservation of biodiversity is the chief responsibility of everyone on the planet. This important task requires a well-structured system. Hence why we developed a new Urgent Priority Management program. The UPM program, in abbreviation, is a smart program that updates itself accordingly to bring and maintain the highest efficiency of our mission. Thus, it becomes the heart and soul of ZOQ and its chief executive in all endeavours.

If we are to be successful in restoring biodiversity, the understanding of ecosystem functionality is of the utmost importance. Hence, ZOQ will focus on the conservation of fauna as well as flora. Flora is the base of the ecosystem, and ZOQ’s flora conservation programs are unique, highly effective, and crucial.

The ex-situ and in-situ fauna conservation programs will only focus on globally threatened species. Thus, ZOQ would become the first zoo to keep threatened species only.
